Fieldwork

OCAT students complete a variety of fieldwork experiences throughout the two year program.  Fieldwork incorporates over 800 hours of learning in specific, off-campus settings and encourages a diverse understanding of Occupational Therapy skills.  Students complete 5 fieldwork rotations in conjunction with corresponding university courses.  Each student is required to complete three observational fieldwork experiences in pediatric, psychosocial and physical dysfunction settings (Level I), as well as two in-depth, hands-on fieldwork placements (Level II) which are 40 hours per week for 8 weeks each.
