Wheels for the World
Looking for gently used wheelchairs
Did you know that there's a need for over 60 million wheelchairs around the world? You can help us make a difference. Wheels for the World is coming to Ashtabula! Dig out that used but serviceable wheelchair and let Wheels for the World clean it up and give it to someone in need.
Kent State University at Ashtabula students will be collecting gently used wheelchairs April 1 through April 27, 2012. Students from the Occupational Therapy Assistant Technology program are sponsoring the wheelchair drive, Wheels for the World, during National Occupational Therapy Month.
For further information or to arrange pick-up or drop-off of wheelchairs, contact Julie Mirabell, KSU Ashtabula Occupational Therapy Assistant Technology program director, at 440-964-4316 or firstname.lastname@example.org. Those interested can also call Tracey Housel, OCAT department secretary, at 440-964-4252 or email@example.com .
