Local accountant offers new scholarshipPosted Jul. 13, 2011
The Clayton Garrett Demshar Memorial Scholarship was made possible by Paul A. Demshar, CPA, in memory of his beloved grandson Clayton. Mr. Demshar is an independent small business owner and civic-minded individual whose entrepreneurial spirit and desire to help others in pursuit of a higher education is the driving force behind his generosity.
Two scholarships of $1,000.00 each will be awarded yearly. Graduates of Ashtabula county high schools who are freshmen at KSUA and pursuing Associate's of Accounting Technology degrees are encouraged to apply. The fist Demshar Scholarship will be awarded for the first time this fall semester.
