Being Muslim in America: Bridging The Cultural Gap

"Being Muslim in America" presentation was recently held in the Quiet Study Lounge at the East Liverpool Campus. Speakers included: Robert Johnston, Lemoyne College Syracuse, NY.  Dr. Lydia Rose and Susan Weaver.

Johnston provided background information regarding the Islamic faith and Muslim migration to the United States. Dr. Rose provided a personal perspective on her religious journey and her conversion from Catholicism to Islam. Following the discussion there was a question and answer segment that allowed the public to inquire further about life as a Muslim in America.
