The fall 2012 semester will bring plenty of changes to the Ashtabula Campus that will affect everyone. The largest of those changes is the renaming and relocation of the Bookstore.

This summer, the Bookstore will be moved to the former Tech Building on the southwest corner of the campus. This will allow more space for this important resource on Campus.

There are no changes to ordering your books online.

Kathy Madison, Bookstore manager, said she is really looking forward to the upcoming changes and the real college campus atmosphere it will help promote. "I’m most excited about the new expanded customer service area and that it will be much more accessible to the general public," Madison said.

There will be a lounge area with chairs and a couch for informal gatherings or just relaxing. The Bookstore will offer more of a variety of clothing and other soft goods. There will be daily book buybacks, not just the end of the semester buyback, which will now be held in the Bookstore and not the Commons.

Renovation of the Tech Building should be far enough along this summer to move the Bookstore into its new lodgings. The plan is for it to be open for business August 1.
