"Wear Blue to Work (or School) Day" on April 10!

Posted Apr. 9, 2013

April has traditionally been designated as Child Abuse Awareness Month and this year, Kent State University at Trumbull will be taking part in the “Wear Blue to Work (or School) Day” on Wednesday, April 10, in conjunction with Trumbull County Children Services.

The event will help the Kent State Trumbull community reflect on how it can better prevent child maltreatment and provide successful interventions when it does occur. Faculty, staff and students can participate in the awareness campaign by wearing blue to campus on April 10.

We thank everyone in advance for their participation, for wearing blue and for making a difference in the life of a child. Child abuse is preventable and hopefully this event will aid in raising awareness and help demonstrate your support for the families and children of our community.
