Sciences Tutoring
The mission of the Sciences Center is to help students successfully complete science courses prescribed by their major course of study. The Tutoring Center defines a successful science student as one who understands the concepts presented in class, and is able to correctly and effectively apply those concepts in lab and clinical settings.
Our Science tutors are available to tutor physics, biology, microbiology, anatomy and physiology, and chemistry. We also offer study support for the Nursing and Allied Health programs as requested by faculty.
In addition to helping you learn the material for your science courses, our tutors can offer helpful study strategies, notetaking strategies, and tips and tricks for remembering the material. While we can offer guidance on what and how to study for a particular course or instructor, we will not give you specifics about any particular test or exam.
