Current Part Time Instructor Opportunities
Periodically, the Ashtabula Campus has Part-time Term Faculty positions available. Assignments are on the Ashtabula Campus unless otherwise noted.
American Sign Language
We are looking for instructors that are qualified to teach ASL 19201, 19202, 29201, and 29202.
Applicants should have a Master's degree in an appropriate field with previous teaching experience preferred, but not required. Please submit a letter of interest, vita, official transcripts for both undergraduate and graduate education, and three (3) letters of professional recommendation.
Chemistry
We are looking for instructors that are qualified to teach CHEM 10030, 10031, 10050, 10052, 10062, and/or 10063.
Applicants are required to have a Ph.D. in Chemistry or closely related science along with a proven history of superior teaching skills at the college level. Please submit a vita, a short statement of teaching philosophy and interests, official transcripts for both undergraduate and graduate education, and three (3) letters of professional recommendation.
Computer Technology with a networking emphasis
We are looking for instructors that are qualified to teach COMT 11005, 21002, 21100, 21110, 46311, and/or 46331.
Applicants should have a Master's degree in an appropriate field with previous teaching experience preferred, but not required. Please submit a letter of interest, vita, official transcripts for both undergraduate and graduate education, and three (3) letters of professional recommendation.
Some COMT assignments may be at locations other than the Ashtabula Campus.
Foreign Languages
We are looking for instructors that are qualified to teach Elementary I and II and Intermediate I and II of a foreign language, including but not limited to, Arabic, Chinese, French, German, Japanese, Russian or Spanish. Course catalog descriptions for these courses are available by searching the course catalog for catalog term "Fall 2012".

Geography
We are looking for instructors that are qualified to teach GEOG 10160, 17063, 17064, and/or 22061.
Applicants should have a Master's degree in an appropriate field with previous teaching experience. Please submit a letter of interest, vita, official transcripts for both undergraduate and graduate education, and three (3) letters of professional recommendation.
Management Information Systems
We are looking for instructors that are qualified to teach MIS 34060, 34165, 34185, 44062, 44152, 44163, and/or 44285.
Applicants should have a Master's degree in an appropriate field with previous teaching experience. Please submit a letter of interest including a list of the specific courses for which you are requesting approval, along with a rationale for the requested courses; vita; official transcripts for both undergraduate and graduate education; and three (3) letters of professional recommendation. At least one of the letters of recommendation needs to specifically address your teaching competence and ability.
Music
We are looking for instructors that are qualified to teach MUS 22111 and/or MUS 22121.
Applicants should have a Master's degree in an appropriate field with previous teaching experience. Please submit a letter of interest, vita, official transcripts for both undergraduate and graduate education, and three (3) letters of professional recommendation.
Nursing
We are looking for a Clinical Obstetric Adjunct Faculty members in the Cleveland and Youngstown areas.
Applicants should have a minimum of a Bachelor's Degree in Nursing (Master's Degree preferred) and previous clinical teaching experience preferred, but not required. Please submit a letter of interest and a resume. Clinical assignments are in the Cleveland and Youngstown/Boardman area.
Philosophy
We are looking for instructors that are qualified to teach PHIL 11001, 21001, 21002, 21020 and/or 40005.
Applicants should have a Master's degree in an appropriate field with previous teaching experience. Please submit a letter of interest including a list of the specific courses for which you are requesting approval, along with a rationale for the requested courses; a short statement of your teaching philosophy and interest; vita; official transcripts for both undergraduate and graduate education; and three (3) letters of professional recommendation.
Physical Therapist Assistant
We are looking lab assistants to work with the faculty to teach lab skills and act as the patient during testing.
Applicants must have a minimum of an Associate Degree and be licensed as a Physical Therapist or Physical Therapist Assistant in the State of Ohio, and be available on Friday, Saturday and Sunday during scheduled lab weekends. Please submit letter of interest and resume.
Respiratory Therapy
We are looking for instructors that are qualified to teach Respiratory Therapy courses.
Applicants should have a Bachelor's degree, with previous teaching experience preferred. Please submit a letter of interest, vita, official transcripts, and three (3) letters of professional recommendation.
